The
Euro Turn
A key feature of Aprica's designs is that they allow
babies to lie flat on their backs. A flat surface allows easy breathing
and sound sleep, as well as encouraging good digestion and absorption
of vital nutrients.
"In order to safeguard your baby, a flat bed
and appropriate properly manufactured childcare equipment are items
of vital importance," said Guido Moro, Professor of Neonatology
at the Postgraduate School of Paediatrics at the University of Milan,
and Director of the Centre for Infant Nutrition to Prevent Illnesses
in Adult Life. "Especially infant safety car seats, which play
an important role in protecting babies from injury and death in
motor vehicle accidents," adds Professor Moro.
The key feature of the Euro Turn is its seat, which
swivels on its base through 360° and reclines to 170°. The
unit can be rotated through 90° to lie flat across the car seat,
creating a supportive bed for the baby. For infants of 6 months to
1 year it can be turned to become a rear-facing seat. The seat can
eventually be turned into a forward-facing child car seat that is
suitable for children from one to four years old.
